Description

The Standard Ign Parts TBG176 is an electronic throttle body (ETB) gasket designed to seal the connection between the throttle body and the intake manifold. This seal prevents unmetered air from leaking into the engine, which can cause a lean condition. Signs of a failed gasket include rough idle, check engine lights with lean mixture codes, or a hissing vacuum leak sound. It is recommended to replace the gasket whenever the throttle body is removed to ensure an air-tight seal.
