Elite 2500 ECU

The Haltech Elite 2500 ECU is a sophisticated, stand-alone engine control unit designed for advanced engine management in performance and racing applications. Housed in a robust, environmentally sealed, waterproof case, this ECU offers extensive control capabilities. It supports up to 12-cylinder or 4-rotor engines and is ideal for EFI conversions or engines equipped with multiple variable camshafts. Key features of the Elite 2500 ECU include drive-by-wire throttle control, intake and exhaust cam control for independent management of up to four camshafts, and dual-channel knock control with high-speed digital filtering. It supports flexible tuning for various fuel types such as petrol, LPG, methanol, and ethanol, and offers flex fuel functionality for optimal performance across different ethanol contents. The ECU also provides closed-loop O2 control for precise tuning, closed-loop idle speed control with learning, and advanced race functions like anti-lag, rolling anti-lag, launch control, and traction control. For data logging, the Elite 2500 offers on-board logging of up to 40 channels at sample rates as low as 5ms, with 2MB of internal memory. Laptop data logging is also supported for real-time tuning and diagnostics. The ECU communicates via dual CAN bus for Haltech dashes and expansion devices, and also supports OEM CAN & OBDII for viewing live engine data and clearing diagnostic trouble codes. The system uses the Nexus Software Programmer (NSP) for calibration. The Elite 2500 ECU comes with 8 fuel injection outputs and 8 ignition outputs, along with 12 digital outputs, 10 analog voltage inputs, and 4 synchronized pulsed inputs. It also features 4 dedicated inputs (Dual Knock, Ignition Switch, and Onboard MAP Sensor) and 2 dedicated engine position inputs with extensive trigger type support. Expansion of up to 45 I/O channels is possible via CAN.
