Elite 550 ECU

The Haltech Elite 550 ECU (HT-150400) is a standalone engine management system engineered for basic 4 to 8-cylinder or 1-2 rotor engine configurations. This ECU provides comprehensive control over critical engine functions including fuel delivery, ignition timing, and boost pressure, making it versatile for both naturally aspirated and forced induction setups. Its robust design includes an environmentally sealed, waterproof (IP67) case and a 34-position AMP connector, ensuring durability in various conditions. Key features of the Elite 550 include 4 fuel injection outputs and 4 ignition outputs, capable of handling peak and hold at 0-8A peak / 0-2A hold. It supports various load sensing methods such as Throttle Position (TPS), Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP), or Mass Air Flow (MAF), and offers flexible injection patterns including sequential, semi-sequential, batch, or multipoint. Ignition control modes encompass direct fire multi-coil, distributor ignition, or Haltech CDI systems. The ECU is equipped with 2 dedicated engine position inputs supporting extensive trigger types, 1 digital pulsed input, 5 digital pulsed outputs, and 1 analog voltage input, alongside 3 dedicated inputs for essential sensors. This ECU integrates an internal 4 BAR MAP sensor, capable of measuring boost pressure up to 300kPa (3Bar/45psi). It also offers expandability for up to 33 channels of Input & Output (I/O) via CAN communication, allowing connection to a wide range of Haltech dashes, displays, and expansion devices. The Elite 550 facilitates USB laptop communication for programming using the new NSP Calibration Software. It is important to note that Haltech products are intended for off-road/competition use only and may not be legal for street use in all regions due to emissions regulations.
