Overview

The BMS Elite Performance Intake is a performance intake system designed for the F90 BMW M5 and F91/F92/F93 BMW M8. It replaces the restrictive top end of the OEM intake with new high-flow ducting and two inverted cone performance filters. The system includes all required hardware and requires no permanent modifications for installation.

The intake offers up to 10whp gains at 25psi+ boost levels, improves turbo spool-up speed, and enhances the vehicle's sound. Buyers can choose between oiled cotton renewable performance filters or dry extendable performance filters. The product is constructed with powder-coated aluminum tubes and includes silicone couplers and hose clamps.

The BMS Elite Performance Intake is engineered to significantly increase airflow for the F90 BMW M5 and F91/F92/F93 BMW M8, while retaining the beneficial aspects of the factory system such as cold air ducting and heat shielding. The system utilizes 3.5-inch powder-coated aluminum intake tubes, heavy-duty silicone couplers, and slim hose clamps. Installation is straightforward, requiring no cutting, drilling, or permanent modifications to the vehicle. The package includes all necessary hardware for a complete installation. Performance benefits include power gains of up to 10whp at 25psi+ boost levels, a dramatic improvement in sound, and quicker turbo spool times. The design outflows stock intakes and provides a visually appealing enhancement under the hood. Vehicle fitment includes the 2018-2023 BMW F90 M5 and M5 Competition, 2020+ BMW G30/G31 M550, and various 2019-2026 BMW 8 Series models including the M8 and M850 variants. The system is designed for both the S63TU2 (M5/M8) and N63R (M550/M850) engines.
