The Mechman B8302400B is a high-output 400 Amp Black Billet alternator from the Elite Series, designed for durability and superior performance. This unit incorporates advanced 6-phase technology and massive twin rectifier assemblies equipped with 12 large diodes to ensure maximum reliability, even under demanding conditions. It is engineered to deliver an impressive 180+ amps at engine idle RPM and can reach over 400 amps at cruising speeds, making it a robust power solution for various applications. This alternator is part of a complete dual alternator system kit designed for 1999-2013 GM LS truck engines. The system emphasizes function and durability with maximum belt wrap and perfect belt alignment to minimize slip and belt fatigue. It also allows for easy access to the power steering pump reservoir for servicing. The kit includes the necessary bracket assembly, belt, and the Black B8206400B & B8302400B alternators, simplifying installation with detailed color instructions and standard hand tools. The Mechman B8302400B alternator is compatible with a range of Chevrolet and GMC Full Size Trucks and Sierras from 2005 to 2013, including models with 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L, and 6.2L engines. However, it is important to note that this system may not work on some Chevrolet Avalanches, and customers should contact customer service before ordering if they have such a vehicle.
