Elite Series Camshaft Package

The Tick Performance Elite Series Camshaft Package offers a complete solution for 4.8L and 5.3L engines, designed to meet various performance goals. These Elite Series Camshafts are manufactured by Cam Motion and are continually updated with the latest valvetrain technology to ensure they remain cutting-edge. This comprehensive package includes your choice of any Tick Performance Elite Series Camshaft for 4.8L & 5.3L engines, a Tick Performance Dual Valvespring Kit, and a Tick Performance Hardened Pushrod Set. Optional upgrades available at checkout include different valvespring types (TP660DVSK, TP700DVSK, TP750DVSK) with titanium retainers, various valvespring locator types to match cylinder head guides, and a range of pushrod lengths, diameters, and wall thicknesses. Additional recommended upgrades for a complete installation include a timing chain upgrade, VVT delete kit (for GEN4 engines ONLY), oil pump upgrade, AFM/DOD delete kit (for GEN4 engines ONLY), new lifters, head bolts or studs, head gaskets, valley cover, and replacement gaskets. Important considerations for installation include the need for a VVT delete kit for GEN4 engines as the Elite Series Camshafts are not designed to work with Variable Valve Timing. If upgrading lifters, OEM head bolts cannot be reused as they are Torque to Yield (TTY). Different O-ring sizes are required for GM pickup tubes depending on the application to prevent low oil pressure. For engines equipped with Active Fuel Management / Displacement on Demand (AFM / DOD), specific valley cover options are necessary. A valve seal install tool is also recommended for proper installation.
