The Genuine BMW floating wheel center cap (part # 36122455269) offers a unique aesthetic by keeping the BMW roundel stationary and upright, even while the wheel is in motion. Unlike traditional center caps, this design incorporates an internal counter-weight to maintain the emblem's orientation. It is specifically designed to fit wheels with a 68mm (2.67") opening in the front and is compatible with many aftermarket wheels, including select models from TA5R, TA16, and APEX. This floating center cap is 7mm thicker than standard caps due to the internal counter-weight. Buyers must ensure there is sufficient clearance behind their existing cap to accommodate this increased thickness. While the product listing has removed known incompatible applications such as E36 and E46 models, other exceptions may still exist, and it is recommended to verify fitment for specific aftermarket wheels. This product is sold exclusively as a set of 4 center caps.
