EMERGENCY RELAY/CHARGER 12V, 35 AMP

The Newmar ERC-12-35 is an Emergency Relay/Charger designed to provide immediate backup power to 12VDC communication equipment when AC power to the primary power supply is temporarily lost or fails. It features a fast-acting Single-Pole Double-Throw (SPDT) relay that automatically switches the equipment's DC input to a standby battery. When the primary power supply returns, the ERC disengages the battery and puts the supply back online. Additionally, it directs a small portion of the output current (0.01 amps typical) to trickle-charge and maintain the standby battery at full voltage. It's ideal for high-stakes environments like emergency services, ham radio setups, marine & RV use, and remote sites, handling 30 amps continuous or 35 amps intermittent loads.
