The ECUMaster EMU Black is a universal engine control computer built to manage the operation of spark-ignition engines, capable of handling even the most advanced and complex configurations. This unit is the successor to the proven ECUMaster EMU, offering enhanced hardware and software capabilities. Its primary applications span modified race cars, passenger cars, motorcycles, boats, and stationary engine setups. The EMU Black features sophisticated drive-by-wire throttle strategies, ensuring a wide range of control with advanced algorithm reliability and failsafe provisions. The housing is constructed from CNC aluminum with an IP 65 rating, and it operates within a wide temperature range (AECQ100 Grade2, -40 to 105°C). It supports a comprehensive array of inputs, including analog, EGT, knock sensor, lambda probe, trigger, vehicle speed sensor, flex fuel, and switched inputs, alongside 8 injector outputs and 6 ignition outputs. This ECU is engineered for robustness, featuring reverse polarity and short circuit protection, and operates within a voltage range of 6-22V with resistance to transients according to ISO 7637. Communication is handled via USB, serial, and CAN-Bus. The unit is compatible with Windows 2000 or newer operating systems, requiring a minimum screen resolution of 1024x768, a 600MHz CPU, and a USB port.
