The Turner Motorsport Enclosed Carbon Fiber Intake is a CAD-designed intake system for N20-powered BMWs. It integrates with OEM ducting and stock mounting locations for an easy installation. The tubular intake design offers clearance for engine bay components while maintaining a consistent cross-sectional area from the MAF sensor.

The Turner Motorsport Enclosed Carbon Fiber Intake is engineered for N20-powered BMWs, aiming to replace the factory plastic components with a more efficient and aesthetically pleasing system. This intake features CAD-designed integration with OEM ducting and mounting locations for a straightforward installation and an OEM+ fit and finish. It maintains a constant cross-sectional area from the MAF sensor and transitions smoothly to the turbo inlet pipe. The MAF sensor flange is precisely machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and positioned centrally for accurate airflow and temperature measurement. The one-piece heat shield is manufactured from 12-gauge 5052 aluminum with a wrinkle black powder coat for durability and engine bay aesthetics. It acts as a barrier to minimize the intake of hot air from the engine bay. An optional gloss-finish carbon fiber heat shield cover, made with 2X2 twill weave carbon fiber, is also available for added UV resistance and a premium look. At the core of the system is a conical, hi-flow, reusable air filter with 8-ply oiled cotton gauze construction for maximum filtration efficiency. The filter features a bellmouth (velocity stack) inlet to reduce turbulence and maximize flow. Performance testing shows an approximate 30% increase in airflow over stock at various pressure differentials. Note: This product is not for sale or use in California on any pollution-controlled vehicle as per the California Air Resources Board.
