Encore/Trax E85 Flex Fuel Conversion Kit

The ZZPerformance Encore/Trax E85 Flex Fuel Conversion Kit is an electrical component that continuously monitors the ethanol percentage in your fuel. By connecting inline with your fuel line, this kit sends real-time data to your vehicle's Powertrain Control Module (PCM). This allows for seamless operation with any blend of E85 and premium gasoline, as the PCM automatically adjusts fueling, timing, and boost to optimize performance for the specific fuel mixture. To ensure proper functionality and performance gains, this kit requires a compatible ZZP 1.4 turbo tune specifically set up for flex fuel operation. Without this tune, the kit will not work. It's important to note that running ethanol increases fuel system demand, and ZZPerformance highly recommends monitoring your fuel pressure during Wide Open Throttle (WOT) operation to ensure it maintains the correct PSI. Larger fuel injectors are also required, with the specific sizing depending on your turbo setup; ZZPerformance customer service can assist with injector selection. This flex fuel conversion kit includes a Continental flex fuel sensor, a wiring harness, a sensor mounting bracket with hardware, and two AN fuel lines. Installation instructions are provided digitally. The kit is specifically designed for the 1.4L LUV/LUJ engine and is intended for use with the OEM GM intake manifold. It may not function or fit correctly with other aftermarket stock replacement intake manifolds. This kit fits 2013-2022 Buick Encore 1.4L and 2015-2022 Chevrolet Trax 1.4L models.
