Steam Vent Adapters & kits. They are designed to eliminate trapped air and steam from your engine to prevent hot spots or overheating. The complete kits are available to plumb your LS engine and include the appropriate hose and hose ends to make installation a breeze. These kits are more attractive than the OEM rigid hard lines and provide flexibility when using aftermarket intakes and other accessories on performance vehicles. This kit is recommend for racing use only, and requires tapping of the steam tube outlet holes on the cylinder heads for use with 1/8 in. NPT fittings. If you don't want to make any modifications to the heads (i.e. tapping the holes), please use another LS steam tube kit since they come with adapters that bolt onto the heads. These kits may require modifications to the radiator or water pump to attach the outlet house.

Earl's Race LS steam tube kit with braided stainless Speed-Seal hose, electroless nickel plated steel hose ends & distribution block, for the front and rear of the engine (four-corner). This kit uses 1/8" NPT adapters on the heads (requires tapping the heads). This kit is the same as used in the ARCA LS race engines.
