Its primary function is to ensure clean air intake, which is crucial for protecting your engine, mass air flow sensor, and other sensitive components from contaminants like dust, pollen, and soot. By filtering out these particles, the air filter helps maintain optimal engine performance and longevity. This air filter is designed with the highest dirt holding capacity and separation efficiency, coupled with low flow resistance. It boasts high pleat stability, ensuring functional reliability throughout its service interval. The dimensions are approximately 10 inches in length, 8.4 inches in width, and 2.6 inches in height. It is important to note that this filter does not have a by-pass valve, anti-drain valve, or anti-siphon valve. While the product is advertised for European nameplates and many customers have reported exact fits, there are specific exclusions. One customer reported that it does NOT fit a GLA 250, and another stated it does not fit a 2004 Toyota Camry. Always verify fitment for your specific vehicle application.
