The Maximum Motorsports Solid Motor Mounts are constructed from heavy-gauge steel with a black powder-coated finish, proudly manufactured in the USA. This rigidity eliminates driveline torque reaction, directly improving throttle response and ensuring the engine and transmission do not rock excessively during acceleration. These motor mounts are designed as a direct bolt-in replacement, simplifying installation, which is rated as easy. They are compatible with 5.0L, 302, and 351W engines. Fitment includes stock 1984-1995 Mustang k-members and the Maximum Motorsports MMKM-1 k-member for 1979-1995 Mustangs. They also fit Ford small-block pushrod V8 engines swapped into 1996-2004 Mustangs when used with the MMKM-1.1 K-member. For Dart blocks with a coolant drain fitting near the mount, some cutting is required. It is critical to note that these motor mounts do NOT fit stock 1979-1983 Mustang k-members due to unique motor mount and k-member mounting pad designs specific to those early years. While recommended for track use, owners of street-driven Mustangs should be aware of potentially increased Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH) and ensure they are comfortable with a more hardcore driving experience.
