Engine and Transmission Mount Kit

Stock engine mounts often prioritize comfort over performance, leading to axle hop and reduced traction. The kit comprises the Revo MQB Engine Mount (RV581M500102), Revo MQB Transmission Mount (RV581T100100), and the Revo MQB Lower Torque Mount (RV582M500300) along with a dedicated installation tool (RV582M900200). The components feature CAD-designed precision fitment and are supplied with class 12.9 hardware. Brackets and housings are CNC machined from 6061-billet aluminum and finished with an anodizing coating for enhanced strength, durability, and resistance to heat and corrosion. Powerflex polyurethane bushings are integral to this system, custom-formulated for optimal performance and comfort balance. These bushings are resistant to oil and fuel, unlike OEM rubber mounts which can degrade over time. The dual durometer design limits engine movement without significantly compromising NVH levels. Testing on a Volkswagen Golf Mk7 GTI utilized a 3-axis accelerometer to quantify NVH and drivetrain acceleration, ensuring a refined balance between driver comfort and performance. This full mount kit is compatible with a range of MQB platform vehicles from Audi, Seat, Skoda, and Volkswagen, specifically those equipped with the 2.0 TSI engine and manufactured from 2012 onwards (or 2013/2014 for certain models). Note that performance engine mounts, by nature, will produce more vibrations at low RPM compared to softer OEM mounts.
