The Racer X Fabrication engine bay heat shield is meticulously designed as a direct replacement for the OEM component in the 1990-1999 Toyota MR2 SW20. This shield addresses common issues with the original part, such as rust, breakage, or missing sections, restoring integrity to your engine bay. Its lower profile design, particularly at the bottom section near the cabin wall engine mount, ensures optimal fitment and functionality. The shield is constructed from durable 5052 aluminum sheet, precision-formed on a CNC press brake, and finished with a laser-etched Racer X logo for a clean aesthetic touch. Installation is straightforward, with an estimated time of 1 hour. Included with the heat shield are all necessary mounting hardware: four M6 flange nuts and four M6 fender washers.
