The MMR 777448 Engine Block / Bellhousing Brace is engineered to safeguard your Ford 5.0 Coyote engine from potential cracking issues caused by vibration and harmonics. This is particularly crucial for 2018-2022 Mustang GT and 2021+ Mach One models, where engine block and bellhousing integrity can be compromised. This brace system addresses a common failure point by connecting the unsupported lower section of the bellhousing directly to the engine block, mimicking the design found on the 2020+ GT500. It bolts to steel inserts that pass through the oil pan, ensuring no stress is placed on the pan itself. This makes it an essential preventative measure for street, drag, and road race applications, even for stock vehicles. The MMR 777448 is constructed from billet aluminum with a black anodized finish for corrosion resistance and durability. It's designed as an easy bolt-on installation, typically taking 15-20 minutes, though raising the car on jack stands is required. Hardware is included. Note that on some 2018+ models, a metal shield may need to be removed or trimmed with tin snips to ensure proper fitment.
