This modification is crucial for late model EFI bikes equipped with 02 sensors, especially when utilizing performance tuning devices like Dynojet's Power Commander V with Autotune. By blocking the air injection system, the DSBLOCK-2 prevents the introduction of additional oxygen into the exhaust, which can skew 02 sensor readings and make it impossible to achieve an accurate tune.
