The ACDelco 12581565 is a refurbished and tested engine control module (ECM) programmed to your vehicle's VIN. It is designed for 2003 Chevrolet Express vans with 4.3L, 4.8L, 5.3L, or 6.0L engines.

This ECM comes with a one-year replacement warranty and includes instructions for post-installation procedures such as an anti-theft relearn and a crankshaft variation relearn. The ACDelco 12581565 is a refurbished and tested Engine Control Module (ECM), also known as a Powertrain Control Module (PCM) or Engine Control Unit (ECU). This unit is programmed specifically to your vehicle's Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to ensure exact matching functionality before it is shipped. This ECM is designed to fit 2003 Chevrolet Express vans equipped with 4.3L, 4.8L, 5.3L, or 6.0L engines. It comes with a one-year replacement warranty. There is no core charge, meaning you keep your old ECM. After installation, two procedures may need to be performed. An anti-theft relearn might be necessary if the vehicle does not start. Additionally, a crankshaft variation relearn may be required once the vehicle is running, which will be indicated if the check engine or service engine soon light illuminates, potentially storing trouble code P0315. Instructions for both procedures are included, though access to a capable scan tool or a repair shop may be needed to complete them and clear related codes.
