This remapping tuner offers a significant 15% increase in horsepower and torque, along with quicker spool-up and improved responsiveness across the entire RPM range. It achieves these gains by interfacing with the vehicle's Inlet Air Temperature sensor and Lambda - O2 Sensor harness to implement a richer fuel trim remap. Installation of the EVO-Tech chip is designed to be straightforward, with a typical completion time of around 45 minutes for technically competent owners using basic wiring tools. Once installed, the performance can be further fine-tuned using the adjustment knob on the remote. A key benefit is the retention of factory drivability, ensuring a seamless transition for the driver while unlocking usable performance gains and steadier engine response. It offers the flexibility to revert to the original Air/Fuel Ratio settings with a simple switch. The product is specifically designed to be compatible with various Jaguar XJ models, including the XJ, XJ8, XJ12, XJ6, XJ8, XJL, XJR, XJR575, XJRS, XJS, XK, XK120, XK8, XKE, XKR, XKR-S, XQ, and XS, across a wide range of model years from 1968 to 2026, and engines such as the 2.0L i4 Ti, 2.7 D, 3.0D, 4.0L, 4.2L, and 5.0L variants.
