Engine Control Module Upgrade

The Brabus PowerXtra B40S-800 is a high-performance engine upgrade package designed to unlock the full potential of compatible Mercedes-AMG vehicles. This kit is based on the AMG GT63 S and the G-Class W 463A AMG G 63, transforming their power output and driving dynamics. The core of the PowerXtra B40S-800 kit includes two BRABUS special turbochargers, each featuring a larger compressor unit with a 52 mm diameter and modified core assemblies equipped with reinforced axial bearings. Complementing the hardware upgrade is a dedicated BRABUS PowerXtra control module, which seamlessly integrates with the vehicle's engine control unit for optimized performance. According to the provided installation guide, the PowerXtra system is ready to run immediately after installation, with no further adaptations or adjustments required. This upgrade delivers a substantial increase in power, raising the rated output from the stock 430 kW/585 hp to an impressive 588 kW/800 hp. Peak torque also sees a significant jump, from the stock 850 Nm to 1,000 Nm. These enhancements translate into improved acceleration, with the 0-100 km/h time reduced from 4.5 seconds to 4.1 seconds. The top speed can also be optionally increased to either 220 km/h or 240 km/h, compared to the stock 220 km/h.
