Engine Conversion Kit

The Brian Tooley Racing BTR GEN IV 07-13 Truck DOD/AFM Conversion Kit is engineered to remove the troublesome Active Fuel Management (AFM) or Displacement on Demand (DOD) lifter system from your Gen IV GM LS truck engine. This kit provides the necessary components to ensure a complete and reliable conversion, eliminating a common failure point in these engines. Brian Tooley Racing (BTR) offers quality parts that can be configured to your exact requirements, differentiating it from simpler, less customizable options. The kit can be tailored to include a range of essential components for the conversion. These include a valley cover, head bolts or studs, head gaskets, header/exhaust manifold gaskets, lifters, lifter trays, valve cover gaskets, valley cover gaskets, a cam retainer plate, cam retainer bolts, and a balancer bolt. Additionally, the kit can be optioned with the Throttle Republic RTD4 tuning device, which, when paired with a BTR camshaft (and appropriate springs, seals, and pushrods if non-stock), allows for a comprehensive engine modification. Note that the BTR10141 valley cover gasket is not compatible with the factory DOD/AFM valley cover. Installation may require additional steps depending on your specific ECU. Some late platforms might need an unlock cable, credits, or an ECM ship-in unlock.
