Manufactured under the direction of the Volkswagen Group, this unit provides factory-level fit and performance, ensuring reliable operation throughout various temperature extremes. Over time, exposure to engine heat cycles can cause plastic reservoirs to become brittle, opaque, or develop cracks at molded seams and junctions. A faulty reservoir can lead to coolant leaks or a drop in system pressure, which may decrease the boiling point of the coolant and lead to engine overheating. Replacing a damaged reservoir promptly is essential to maintaining engine cooling efficiency. Compatibility is specific to a wide range of Volkswagen and Audi models. Please note that certain model applications, such as the 2019 Volkswagen Atlas, may have production date requirements; for the 2019 Atlas S with the 3.6L V6 engine, this part applies to vehicles from the production date of 7/7/2019 and later. Always confirm fitment against your specific vehicle year, engine, and production date.
