The Aisin THT-012 is an engine coolant thermostat designed to control the flow of coolant in an engine. It regulates the engine's operating temperature to improve fuel efficiency. When the engine is cold, the thermostat remains closed, preventing coolant circulation. As the engine warms up, it opens, allowing coolant to flow and absorb heat, bringing the engine to its optimal operating temperature quickly and efficiently.
