The Honda 19301-RNA-315 is an OEM engine coolant thermostat assembly, often referred to as a Honda Thermostat. This direct-replacement part is manufactured by Fuji Seiko and Nippon, ensuring it meets strict factory specifications for reliability and performance. It comes complete with a thermostat gasket, replacing OEM part numbers 19301-RNA-305 and 19301-RNA-306. This thermostat is designed for various Honda Civic models from 2006 to 2015, including 2-door and 4-door configurations, and various trims like EX, EX-L, LX, HF, and GX. It also fits Honda HR-V models from 2016 to 2022, specifically those with the 1.8L L4 engine. Installation involves disconnecting the battery and draining the cooling system. Accessing the thermostat may require removing the under-vehicle splash shield for some models, or components like the PCM and bracket on CR-V models. The process includes removing the old thermostat, cleaning the housing, installing the new thermostat with its gasket, and reassembling components. The jiggle pin on the thermostat should be positioned at the top during installation. Refill the cooling system and check for leaks after installation.
