Description

The MOTORAD 973-207 is a standard thermostat designed for direct-fit replacement. It is manufactured with OEM quality materials and standards by an OE supplier, ensuring it stands up to demanding automotive cooling systems. This thermostat features a copper case and wax compound for rapid response to temperature changes in the coolant.

Constructed from high-grade stainless steel and copper, the 973-207 meets or exceeds OEM standards. It provides consistent and precise response to cooling system needs with an original equipment design. The unit is 100% tested and calibrated for reliable performance. Specifications include a valve outside diameter of 1.22 inches, a height of 2.25 inches, and an O-ring seal type. It opens at 207.0 degrees Fahrenheit (97.22 degrees Celsius) and features an OEM insert design. The gasket or seal is pre-installed, and it is not electric or MAP controlled.
