The Nissens radiator is a direct replacement for your Mercedes-Benz W124 chassis vehicle equipped with M103 and M104 L6 engines. This radiator is suitable for replacing units that are leaking coolant or have clogged fins, which can impede airflow and cause overheating. Constructed with plastic tanks and a core measuring 20 7/8 inches high by 19 1/8 inches wide with a 1 1/4 inch thickness, this radiator features a top-left inlet of 1.38 inches. It is manufactured in Slovakia. Nissens, a Danish company with over 95 years of experience in thermal systems, designs their radiators to meet exact OEM specifications with potential improvements for enhanced flow and cooling efficiency. This radiator is compatible with the following Mercedes-Benz models: 260E (1987-1989), 300CE (1988-1993), 300E (1986-1993, including Base, 2.6, 2.8, and 4Matic variants), 300TE (1988-1993, including Base and 4Matic variants), and E320 (1993-1995, including Convertible, Coupe, Sedan, and Wagon body styles). Early models may require a 3/4" coolant bypass pipe cap (MM-02254) and a 16mm-27mm coolant hose clamp (GM-HC16279). It is always recommended to replace radiator hoses when installing a new radiator. This part is located in front of the vehicle behind the grille and is susceptible to damage from road debris.
