The Hybrid Racing K Swap Ground Kit is specifically engineered to address the grounding challenges that arise during K-series engine swaps into EG/EK Civics, Del Sols, and DC2 Integras. When swapping an engine, the original ground points are altered, and factory harnesses may not be long enough, leading to a host of electrical issues including slow cranking, ECU errors, rough idling, and misfires. This kit provides a cost-effective solution by offering pre-made ground wires of the correct length, eliminating the need for cutting, splicing, or fabricating your own solutions. The kit features shielded, heavy-gauge wire and includes three engine/transmission grounds along with a thick battery ground strap. It is designed to utilize the factory ground locations on 1992-2000 Honda Civics (EG/EK), 1993-1997 Honda Del Sols, and 1994-2001 Acura Integras (DC2). For other chassis, the kit will still function, but users will need to identify their own appropriate ground locations as they will differ from the specified chassis. This ground kit is compatible with various K-series engine swaps, including K20A, K20A2, K20A3, K20Z1, K20Z3, K24A, K24A2, and K24Z engines, as well as all K-series swapped applications. All necessary mounting hardware is included, ensuring a straightforward installation process.
