The URO 272140240180 is an engine intake manifold engineered for precise OE fitment, ensuring straightforward installation on compatible Mercedes-Benz vehicles. Constructed from durable AA7072 material with a silver finish, this manifold is designed to resist corrosion and withstand the harsh conditions of the engine bay, including oil vapor and intense heat. This intake manifold is crucial for distributing the air-fuel mixture to the engine's cylinders. Symptoms of a failing intake manifold can include engine misfires, rough idling, coolant or vacuum leaks, and a Check Engine Light (CEL) due to air imbalance or sensor issues. This part addresses potential issues with factory plastic adjuster levers, which can commonly lead to fault codes such as P2004, P2006, or P2005. Note that the holes for the throttle housing gasket are not threaded; the mounting bolts are self-tapping. It is also recommended to replace the intake manifold gaskets when installing this part.
