The BimmerWorld Genuine BMW transmission mount is a direct replacement for the original component in select BMW M3, M5, and M6 models. This mount secures the transmission to the vehicle's chassis, playing a crucial role in reducing drivetrain vibrations and preventing excessive movement during operation. Over time, original mounts can develop slop or even break, leading to noticeable vibrations, clunking noises during gear changes, or rattling when accelerating. This part is specifically designed for the E90, E92, and E93 BMW M3 with the S65 engine, and the E60 M5 and E63 M6 with the S85 engine, covering model years from 2006 to 2013 depending on the specific chassis and engine. It fits both DCT and manual transmissions within these applications. The transmission mount should always be replaced in pairs to ensure balanced support and optimal performance.
