Overview

The Racingline VWR15G702 is an engine mount designed to replace factory mounts and significantly reduce engine and transmission movement. This results in a more solid drive and improved durability for high-powered or hard-driven vehicles. It helps eliminate wheel-hop under hard acceleration and during aggressive gear changes.

The mount is CNC-machined from T6000 aluminum and features a polymer mix with different durometer ratings to filter drivetrain vibrations while maintaining compliance. It is available for MQB and A5 platform cars.

The Racingline VWR15G702 is a performance engine mount engineered to replace stock components and drastically decrease engine and transmission movement. This upgrade provides a more connected driving experience by firming up the drivetrain's location, leading to sharper handling, reduced wheel-hop during hard acceleration, and a more positive feel during aggressive gear changes. It is a crucial upgrade for modified vehicles or those frequently used on track. Constructed from a billet of T6000 aluminum, these mounts are meticulously machined using advanced CNC technology. The proprietary polymer blend incorporates varying durometer (hardness) ratings, allowing for some compliance to filter drivetrain vibrations while ensuring a much tighter and more planted feel. This mount is designed for both DSG and manual transmissions and is suitable for MQB and A5 platform vehicles. Installation of the full uprated engine mount kit may introduce more noise and vibration into the cabin compared to installing only the lower engine mount. Drivers should expect a period of a few hundred miles or kilometers for the mounts to settle in after installation.
