The Planted Seat Bracket acts as a robust, vehicle-specific interface between your vehicle's floor and an aftermarket racing seat. Because factory floor pans vary and are rarely flat, this bracket is engineered as a direct bolt-in solution for your specific application. Each unit is laser-cut from 3/16-inch thick steel and hand-welded in the USA to provide a high-strength, non-warping foundation for your seating setup. The bracket also provides extra material to facilitate direct mounting or custom side-mount installations if you prefer to eliminate sliders. Installation requires specific fitment for the 1994-1997 Audi A6 and 1995-1997 Audi S6. Note that certain slider brands may require minor modifications: Bride sliders generally need their "feet" removed and new hole patterns drilled, while wide-version Cobra sliders may require one hole per rail to be elongated by 1/8 inch. It is the end user's responsibility to verify that their chosen seat and components fit the application before installation.
