The Powerflex PFF85-704 is a street version performance engine mount bushing, crafted from 70A durometer yellow polyurethane. This component is designed to replace original equipment part numbers 1K0199867 or 1K0199868, and is specifically located in position #4 of the referenced diagram. Engine mounts play a crucial role in supporting the engine and transmission while isolating the cabin from vibrations. When these mounts deteriorate, symptoms can include increased engine and drivetrain vibration, uneven engine operation, and noticeable engine rock during gear changes or braking. The Powerflex PFF85-704 aims to restore proper alignment and reduce these undesirable effects for a more enjoyable driving experience. This specific bushing is designed for vehicles from mid-2008 onwards. For vehicles manufactured up to mid-2008, the PFF85-504 is the correct replacement.
