High-grade hardware is included for a secure installation.
These mounts precisely position the L5P Duramax engine block in the exact location of prior generation Duramax engines that were originally fitted to the 2001-2010 GM HD trucks. It is important to note that while these mounts enable the swap, the overall installation process for an L5P Duramax into an older chassis is extensive and requires significant modifications to the transmission, drivetrain, electronics, fuel, exhaust, and cooling systems. The product is intended for high-performance use only, and users should anticipate an increase in engine vibration and noise after installation. It is specifically designed for use in 2001-2010 GM HD Truck Chassis ONLY.
