By filling the existing gaps in the stock mount, this insert minimizes unwanted engine slop and movement, resulting in a more responsive power delivery during acceleration and gear changes. This Black Series component is constructed from high-performance polyurethane, which is approximately 80% stiffer than the original OEM rubber mount. Please note that this increased stiffness may transfer a greater degree of engine vibration to the chassis compared to the stock rubber component. Compatibility is specific to vehicles equipped with 5-cylinder engines for Volvo models. Because original mount designs have been updated by the manufacturer, it is essential to verify the style of the existing mount hardware before installation to ensure a correct fit. Professional installation is recommended to ensure proper alignment and secure mounting within the engine bay.
