The Powerflex Front Lower Engine Mount Insert serves as a performance-oriented upgrade for factory lower engine "dogbone" mounts. By filling the voids in the original rubber bushing with durable polyurethane, this insert significantly reduces unwanted engine and transmission oscillation during acceleration and gear shifts. This results in a more connected feel and improved power transfer to the wheels, helping to manage engine torque more effectively than the softer OE rubber. Constructed from high-performance polyurethane, this insert is available in both street and race configurations to suit different driving needs. The installation is straightforward, requiring access to the lower engine mount located in the front subframe beneath the vehicle. Because this is a direct-fit insert, it is compatible with a wide range of MQB platform vehicles, including many Volkswagen and Audi models from 2012 onwards. It replaces the original mounting functionality while retaining the factory housing. Please note that this specific "Large A" version is distinct from other Powerflex mount variations; ensure vehicle compatibility by verifying your original mount size before installation.
