Engine Mount Kit

It combines the precise engine location of the competition-style mount on the intake (right) side with a more compliant rubber mount on the exhaust (left) side. This hybrid design provides approximately 80% less engine movement than standard rubber mounts while introducing only a minimal increase in vibration. The intake side mount features a 70 durometer urethane bushing, and the exhaust side mount uses a 70 durometer rubber bushing. It is important to note that this hybrid kit is not recommended for frequent competition or dedicated track use; for those applications, Supermiata offers their Competition Motor Mounts. Fitment is for 90-05 Miata models. Specific fitment notes apply for 2001-2005 models with the factory oil pan; if using an 01-05 MBSP style oil pan/bottom end, the 01-05 mount kit is required. If an 01-05 MBSP style oil pan/bottom end is used with a 94-00 1.8 engine (BP05, BP4W head), the 01-05 mounts should still be ordered. The torque specification for the through bolt on the competition mount is 50 ft-lbs.
