Engine Mount Kit

The AWR Racing complete engine mount kit is engineered to significantly reduce unwanted engine and transmission movement in the 2013-2018 Ford Focus ST. The primary benefits include improved shift feel, a reduction in wheel hop, and a more direct connection between the engine and chassis, leading to enhanced throttle response. Each component within this kit is meticulously crafted in the USA. The construction involves laser-cut and CNC-folded steel, ensuring precise fitment. The passenger and transmission mounts are TIG welded for superior strength, while the rear motor mount utilizes MIG welding. The mounts are further enhanced with machined inner sleeves that are nickel-plated for corrosion resistance and finished with a durable powder coating available in Black or Red. Energy Suspension polyurethane bushings are standard, offering a choice of durometers (70A, 88A, 95A) to match your driving needs, from daily driving to aggressive track use. When selecting your durometer, AWR Racing recommends the 70A for daily driving with minimal modifications. The 88A is suited for lightly to moderately modified vehicles, and the 95A is ideal for highly modified street cars and dedicated track builds. It's important to note that initial NVH (noise, vibration, harshness) levels may be noticeable but are expected to settle after approximately 500 miles of driving. The larger bushing size in these updated mounts also contributes to reducing NVH compared to previous designs. All bushings are replaceable, ensuring longevity and serviceability for the mount kit.
