Overview

Have you noticed more engine noise or vibration on your Duramax truck? If so it could mean that your engine mounts have failed. Stock engine mounts fail over time as bushings deteriorate. This causes vibration and engine noise to become more pronounced. Degradation is accelerated in high-power engine applications. PPE High-Performance Silicone Engine Mount Kits are engineered to anchor the engine and improve ride quality. The premium silicone bushings are designed to last the life of the vehicle, handle the high heat of the engine bay, and isolate vibration much better than polyurethane bushings. PPE Engine Mount Kit Bushings are available in four different hardness (durometer) options: 40A = softest to 70A = firmest. The 50A is closest to OEM firmness. The 70A Hardness is Red. These mounts feature steel support brackets, improved strength and durability. All hardware needed for installation is included.
