The Massive Speed System Competition Series Engine Mounts are designed as a direct replacement for the weak stock upper and lower mount assemblies in the Neon 2.0 SOHC (2000-2005). The factory mounts often struggle to handle even stock engine torque, leading to excessive wheel hop. This issue not only causes embarrassing performance but also places significant stress on driveline components, potentially leading to axle failure. This direct replacement mount system from Massive Speed System effectively eliminates wheel hop. It features a significantly stronger design capable of handling elevated power levels. To achieve this, Massive employed exclusive TIG welded tube construction for maximum strength. The mounts are fitted with custom-spec, high-durometer polyurethane bushings that provide sufficient damping to prevent excessive cabin vibration.
