Engine Mounts

The Dirty Dingo 1973-87 4X4 Chevy-GMC Truck Mounts are precision CNC laser-cut from .250 thick 1050 High Carbon cold-rolled steel, designed for the installation of Gen III/IV LS series engines into older Chevrolet/GM trucks. These adjustable conversion mounts are slotted for optimal placement within the engine compartment, allowing the engine to be moved from the original bell housing position up to 2 1/2” forward and 1/2” rearward. This ensures secure engine placement, even in high horsepower applications. Manufactured using precision CNC press brake with a custom large radius die, these mounts integrate with the factory rubber clamshell-style mounts on the original frame. The design accommodates a wide range of standard or automatic transmissions, including Powerglide, TH350, TH400, TH700R4, 4L60E, 4L65E, 4L70, and 4L80. Important fitment notes: These mounts will not fit DART aftermarket blocks. They will clear LS Truck low mount A/C but will not allow the engine to slide back. They will not fit with Corvette or Camaro-GTO low mount A/C. If your application uses a 1998-02 Camaro low mount alternator mount, the adjustment range will be limited. A small notch on the driver side of the cross member will be required. Raw steel is not painted.
