Constructed with 60 durometer solid rubber and premium cast aluminum using OEM production methods, these mounts minimize engine movement, leading to improved gear changes and a more responsive feel. The use of high-durometer rubber is favored over polyurethane for its superior damping capabilities and effectiveness in tension, compression, and shear stress management, providing a better balance of performance and comfort. Electronic emulators are included for a plug-and-play installation on vehicles equipped with active motor mounts, ensuring CEL-free operation. A note from the manufacturer states that as performance-oriented engine mounts, some increase in vibration and harshness is to be expected. This subjective characteristic should lessen after a break-in period of approximately 500-600 miles. The mounts are sold as a pair, with one pair required per vehicle. These motor mounts are designed to fit a range of Audi models including the A4, A5, A6, A7, Allroad, Q5, SQ5, Q7, and Q8, as well as the S4, S5, and RS5. Specific fitment details include model years, engines (such as 2.0T, 3.0T, and 2.9T), and drive types (Quattro), covering the B9, B9.5, C8, and 4M/4M.5 chassis generations from approximately 2015 to 2025.
