Description

Unlike the stock system, this kit includes an oil temperature sensor, providing critical data that the car's computer doesn't natively monitor. The heat exchanger is carefully sized to deliver adequate oil cooling without compromising airflow to essential components like the radiator or intercooler. Installation is described as simple. This oil cooler kit is compatible with 2016-2026 Mazda MX-5 Miata models, including the RF variant (2017-2026). However, for 2019 and later models, an additional installation kit (04-37249) is required, and the stock cooler must be removed. It also integrates with the non-lit Carbon Miata Spyder Grille but is incompatible with the version of the grille that includes lights. For those with an Edelbrock supercharger, a heat exchanger relocation kit will be necessary to adjust the position of the supercharger radiator. The kit is compatible with the BBR turbo without modification.
