This kit ensures optimal filtration and includes all necessary components for a complete oil filter change: the filter element, filter housing seal, filter housing plug o-ring, and drain plug seal ring. Aftermarket filters may use lower-quality media that can break down, potentially releasing contaminants into your oil and damaging critical engine components such as crankshafts and bearings. This oil filter element is specifically designed for a wide range of BMW models equipped with the 4.4L V8 engine, including various iterations of the X6, 750i, 750Li, 550i GT, 550i GT xDrive, 750i xDrive, 750Li xDrive, 760Li, 550i, and 550i xDrive. It is also noted that this filter applies to models with the oil filter cap without a drain screw.
