Engine Oil Pan Gasket Set for Honda B-Series

The Fel-Pro PermaDryPlus oil pan gasket set (OS 30630 T) is engineered to solve common oil pan leaks found in Honda and Acura B-Series engines, which span 1.6L to 2.0L displacements from 1989 to 2001. This gasket set addresses a known issue where over-tightening oil pan bolts can crush stamped dimples on the flange, leading to gasket deformation and leaks. The PermaDryPlus gasket features a robust steel-core construction and proprietary molded rubber that actively prevents overtightening and gasket extrusion. Its one-piece design simplifies installation compared to multi-piece alternatives, reducing the risk of errors. Included with the gasket set are Fel-Pro's SnapUps® Installation Aids, which temporarily hold the gasket and oil pan in place, allowing for easier bolt threading and a faster installation process. A critical installation note advises removing any OE compression limiters found on the transmission side of the pan to prevent a double-gasket condition and subsequent leaks. The sealing surface must be clean and dry, with RTV sealant required only at specific joints on the engine block where the oil pump and RMB retainer meet.
