The Acura 15100-PRB-A01 is a genuine OEM engine oil pump assembly, designed to ensure dependable performance and durability for your vehicle. It replaces previous part numbers 15100-PNC-003 and 15100-PND-003, ensuring a proper fit and function. This oil pump is specifically designed for 2002-2006 Acura RSX models. It is a direct replacement, meaning it is manufactured to fit your vehicle without modifications. The pump assembly holds 1000 milliliters (1 liter) of oil and is guaranteed by Acura's factory warranty for your peace of mind. For K24 engine builds and K24 swaps, this K20A2 oil pump (part number 15100-PRB-A01) has been pre-machined by Hybrid Racing for K24 block clearance, eliminating the need for grinding. It also removes the balance shafts, which can eliminate 10-15 hp of parasitic loss and allows for better oil pressure at high RPMs due to its design for higher-revving engines. It's important to note that installation requires K20A2-specific parts such as the windage tray, chain, tensioner, and hardware, which are not included with the pump and must be purchased separately or as a complete installation kit. Do not use K24 windage tray, chain, or hardware as they are not interchangeable. Refer to the factory service manual for the correct installation procedure and torque specifications.
