The Mahle Original Plasma-Moly steel piston ring set is designed for 4.155-inch bore, 8-cylinder engines with 1.2mm, 1.5mm, and 3.0mm ring thicknesses. These file-fit rings are crafted from SAE 9254 steel and feature a proprietary plasma face coating. This construction provides enhanced tensile strength, hardness, and fatigue resistance for extended engine life.
