Description

The Mahle Original 40452CP.060 is a set of premium piston rings designed for various L4 engines. These rings feature a 3.935-inch bore and come in a 5/64 in., 5/64 in., and 3/16 in. thickness configuration.

The materials and coatings are optimized for reduced friction and extended life. The compression rings have a barrel-faced contact area for efficient compression and a CNC-controlled gap chamfer to reduce blow-by. Intermediate rings are designed with a reverse twist for better groove sealing, and the CP-20 oil ring assemblies offer an exclusive 20-degree ear angle for optimal side seal against the cylinder wall.
