The Mahle Original piston ring set is designed for Honda 2.4L engines, specifically for K24A1, K24A4, and SOHC models manufactured between 2002 and 2011. These rings are engineered with OE requirements in mind, aiming to reduce friction and engine oil consumption for a longer service life.

The set features compression rings with a barrel-faced contact area for efficient compression and a CNC-controlled gap chamfer to minimize blow-by. Intermediate rings utilize a reverse twist design for better groove side sealing, and the CP-20 oil ring assemblies include a 20-degree ear angle for optimal side seal and a special chemical polish for enhanced oil drain-back. They are pre-lapped for immediate seating, virtually eliminating break-in time.
