Engine Quick Oil Drain Valve

The Fumoto F108N engine quick oil drain valve offers a convenient solution for oil changes, replacing your standard drain plug. Its spring-assisted ball valve design allows for one-touch operation, making oil changes cleaner, mess-free, and less time-consuming. The integrated nipple allows for a hose to be attached, preventing contact with hot oil and eliminating the risk of stripped threads or frozen plugs. Constructed from forged brass and stainless steel to exacting Japanese specifications, the FN series valves are built for durability and reliable service. This model features an M16-1.5 thread size, a 16mm gasket, and a 3/8" - 10mm nipple dimension with a 5/8" (15mm) nipple length. Its compact design makes it suitable for a wide range of vehicles, including cars, light trucks, vans, and select commercial engines. Installation is straightforward: remove the original drain plug, insert the Fumoto valve and gasket, and tighten. Refill the crankcase with oil, ensuring the valve is closed. Operation involves lifting and turning the control lever 90 degrees counter-clockwise to open and 90 degrees clockwise to close. It is important to note that the N-Series valves, like the F108N, are not recommended for passenger cars with low ground clearance due to the extended nipple. Additionally, if the valve cannot be tightened fully without hitting the oil pan wall, it should not be installed, and adapters may be available for some models.
